Graduation Day!!!

Well, I've been done with school for a little while, but today I am an official Brigham Young University graduate! It's so strange when a goal you've had your whole life gets accomplished! Where do you go now? Only time will tell! But I'll tell you where I'm gonna go first! On a much needed vacation! So for part of graduation celebration my dad is taking us to Boston on June 4th! I'm so so excited! But in all seriousness, I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to study at BYU. I have learned so much over the past few years that I will carry with me my whole life. It's been a roller coaster ride-I've experienced my highest highs and my lowest lows, but I have to say that it has all been worth it. I want to thank all of my family and friends that have helped me reach this goal, and who have supported me through everything I have gone through to get to this point. It's all a little bitter sweet. I am thrilled to be starting a new chapter in my life, but I will never forget these past four years-the friends I've made, the experiences I've had, and the lessons I've learned. Congratulations Class of 2008!

Finally!

I got offered a new job today! The position is an Executive Assistant/Sales Coordinator for a training and consulting firm in Orem-Spencer Johnson Partners. Basically, they train companies and individuals that are experiencing change, and help them improve their business. My job will sort of be two jobs rolled into one. I will be the Executive Assistant to the VP of the company, and that is pretty much what it sounds like! The Sales Coordinator part involves a few things. I will coordinate all of the events, seminars, trainings, workshops, etc., and also be the go-to person for all the clients, acting as a liason between them and the other members of the company. The salary is great, and I also get full benefits: health, life, and dental insurance, PTO, a 401K, and a Money Purchase Pension Plan that pays out annually. Also, the people that I will be working with are great! Everyone that I have met so far has been extremely nice and down to earth. My official start date will be April 28, and I will be trained for a month before being released on my own! I know this job doesn't have much to do with my degree, other than I will be involved with people and relationships with them. I have planned on applying to some graduate schools to get my Masters degree in counseling, which I am still probably going to do & see what happens. Also, I may pursue my Interior Design interest more in the future, but until either of those things become more concrete, it will be nice to have the stability & gain more experience in the work force! I am so grateful for this opportunity, and am super excited to move forward with this part of my life!!!

Utah Jazz vs. San Antonio Spurs

I went to the Jazz game on Friday night with my friend Steve Dahle! It was so much fun and our seats were awesome! We were about the third row right behind the San Antonio bench! I tell ya, that's the way to go! Games are so much more fun when you're right in the action! Look closely at the re-run of the game & you'll see us on T.V. cheering our little hearts out! We were a little worried about the Jazz at first, but they came through in the end and dominated the Spurs! I think we were their good luck charms! :)

About Us

My photo
Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog! Brady and I were married on November 3, 2009. We live in a house in The Cove in Herriman. Brady is in commercial insurance and bonding for the Buckner Company and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. We have a baby boy named Korvin who is our pride and joy! We also have a yellow lab named Daisy and an Imperial Shih Tzu named Axel. Brady and I are pretty chill. Besides snuggling our new baby, we love doing things like watching movies, taking walks, going on weekend trips to St. George, shopping for house stuff (I'll be punished for sharing that!),hanging out at the cabin, taking drives, and spending time with all our family & friends who we love dearly! Thanks for visiting & letting us share our life with you!
