Counting Down!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I am going to Boston in less than a week! I have always wanted to go, and now I finally get to! I'm going with my parents & Madi, and our flight leaves at 6:00 A.M. Wednesday morning! It's very early, but that's okay, because ya know how you couldn't sleep the night before vacations when you were little? Yah...I'm still like that! It will be so great to get away and shop, eat sea food, and of course...the highlight...watch the Red Sox play at Fenway! Hopefully the weather is good, and I get to wear my new capris! It says it's supposed to be high 70s to low 80s so cross your fingers! I'll let ya know how it goes when I get back, and I'll be taking lot's of pictures! Go Sox!!!

The Cure!

So I bought tickets to The Cure forever ago, and Friday was finally the day! I know, I know, it seems a little out of character for me, but I was introduced to them a couple of years ago, and I've loved them ever since! I'm actually kind of a closet "hard core" & "edgy" music lover. Anyway, Madi & I went together, and we had a blast! The concert definitely brought out all sorts of crazy people! But no one way crazier than the band! Robert Smith, the lead singer, sort of looked like a creepy, dark version of Hagrid, and Porl Thompson, the lead guitarist...well...we just couldn't quite figure him out! His mesh shirt, patent leather pants, and platform high heels said it all! But man, could he play! The evening was eventful, wild, and just one big party! Rock On!!!
