Family Reunion!

I can't believe another year has gone by so fast!  Memorial Day weekend was already time again for Brady's family reunion in St. George! It was so nice to get away from the cold weather and get some sun...finally!  It was in the 90s the whole time & I couldn't have been happier!  This year was particularly fun for me, because it was one of the first family events that I'd actually been to before, so I was finally part of some family memories.  You see, by sister & brother in laws have all been with their spouses for years & years, so I always feel like the newby at everything.  I think it made me feel even more part of the family. :0)

Anyway...we almost thought we'd never make it to St. George!  Talk about a fiasco...the night before we realized we had a nail in our tire, but no open stores carried the tire we needed.  So, Brady had it patched until we could get a new tire.  Well, the patch only held until Provo and we started losing air quickly.  We drove around & called everywhere & no one in Provo had the tire we needed! We ended up having to miss the annual cemetery stop and drive all the way back to Sandy to get a new tire!  (Needless to say, we will NOT be listening to tire salesmen who suggest fancy, unique tires are a better choice than standard anymore!)  After we finally got that fixed, we made it to about American Fork when Cody called & had forgotten his bike shoes, so we had to turn around AGAIN!  So it ended up being about an 8 hour drive to St. George instead of a 3 1/2 hr. one...but hey! It'll be a good memory, right?  Once we finally made it, we went boating, hung out by the pool, had a picnic, played games, the boys golfed & rode Harleys, shopped....basically anything you can think of that would mean "fun"!  During our shopping...we also FINALLY found a great chair & 1/2 for our family room, which we've been searching for forever!  (I'll try to take a pic later).  So all in all it was a pretty successful vaca!  Now...back to reality. Boo!  But hopefully summer is going to decide to grace us with its presence soon so our days can all be a little brighter! :0)

It's always hard to come home from vacation...but at least we got to come home to this guy! I just love him!

Oh your dog is so cute! I miss you and I have been a bad friend and haven't called forever. I will though and also, I am coming home to visit over labor day in Sept. That is when we are going to bless the baby. I will stay for like a week so I will for sure visit you so you can see her when she gets here.

Family Reunions are so much fun! I'm sorry it was such an ordeal getting there in the first place but it looks like the fun weekend was definitely worth the hassle!

About Us

My photo
Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog! Brady and I were married on November 3, 2009. We live in a house in The Cove in Herriman. Brady is in commercial insurance and bonding for the Buckner Company and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. We have a baby boy named Korvin who is our pride and joy! We also have a yellow lab named Daisy and an Imperial Shih Tzu named Axel. Brady and I are pretty chill. Besides snuggling our new baby, we love doing things like watching movies, taking walks, going on weekend trips to St. George, shopping for house stuff (I'll be punished for sharing that!),hanging out at the cabin, taking drives, and spending time with all our family & friends who we love dearly! Thanks for visiting & letting us share our life with you!
